Paris, July 28: పారిస్ వేదికగా జరుగుతున్న ఒలింపిక్స్లో భారత్ బోణి కొట్టింది.మహిళల 10 మీటర్ల ఎయిర్ పిస్టల్ ఫైనల్లో షూటర్ మనూ భాకర్ కాంస్య పతకాన్ని కైవసం చేసుకుంది. దీంతో షూటింగ్ వ్యక్తిగత విభాగంలో పతకం సాధించిన తొలి భారత మహిళగా భాకర్ చరిత్ర సృష్టించింది. ఫైనల్లో 221.7 పాయింట్లు సాధించిన మనూ భాకర్ మూడో స్థానంలో నిలిచి కాంస్య పతకాన్ని కైవసం చేసుకుంది.
ఈ విజయంతో 2021లో జరిగిన టోక్యో ఒలింపిక్స్లో జరిగిన ఓటమికి రీవెంట్ తీర్చుకుంది. ఒలింపిక్స్ వ్యక్తిగత విభాగంలో ఫైనల్ చేరిన భారత తొలి మహిళా షూటర్గా నిలిచారు భాకర్. హాకీలో భారత్ బోణీ.. తొలి పోరులో 3-2తో న్యూజిలాండ్ పై టీమిండియా విజయం
