ఈ కొత్త విధానం ఎప్పుడు అమల్లోకి వస్తుందనే విషయాన్ని మాత్రం ఆయన వెల్లడించలేదు. గతేడాది న్యూజిలాండ్, ఫిలిప్పీన్స్లో కొత్త ఖాతాలకు ఏడాదికి డాలర్ ఛార్జీ వసూలు చేసే విధానాన్ని ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా అమలు చేస్తున్నట్లు ఎక్స్ తెలిపింది.ఈ ప్రాంతాలకు చెందిన కొత్త యూజర్లు ఎక్స్లో పోస్ట్ను చూడగలరు. కానీ, రిప్లై, రీపోస్ట్, కొత్త పోస్ట్ రాయడం వంటి ఆప్షన్లు మాత్రం ఉండవు. దీన్నే ఇప్పుడు ఇతర ప్రాంతాలకూ విస్తరించే యోచనలో మస్క్ ఉన్నారు.
