అస్సాంలోని జోర్హాట్లోని చౌక్ బజార్ ప్రాంతంలో మంటల్లో దుకాణాలు దగ్ధమయ్యాయి. అగ్నిప్రమాదంలో 300 దుకాణాలు ధ్వంసమయ్యాయి, ఈ సంఘటనలో ఎటువంటి ప్రాణనష్టం లేదని జోర్హాట్ డిప్యూటీ కమిషనర్ తెలిపారు, ఫైర్ ఇంజిన్లు సకాలంలో చేరుకుని మంటలను ఆర్పివేశాయని అన్నారు.
