India-Pakistan Tensions: న్యూఢిల్లీలోని పాకిస్తాన్ హైకమిషన్ కాంపౌండ్ వెలుపల ఆమోదించిన సరిహద్దును దాటి నిర్మించిన పలు తాత్కాలిక నిర్మాణాలను అధికారులు గురువారం జేసీబీ యంత్రాల సహాయంతో కూల్చివేశారు. హైకమిషన్ మిషన్ పరిమితిని దాటి వీధి పొడవునా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కట్టడాలు, బారికేడ్లు, వీసా విభాగం వద్ద నిర్వహించే క్యూ నిర్వహణ ఏర్పాట్లను మున్సిపల్ / సంబంధిత ఏజెన్సీలు తొలగించినట్లు అధికారిక వర్గాలు వెల్లడించాయి.
కూల్చివేత అనంతరం ఆ ప్రాంతమంతా విరిగిన రేయిలింగ్లు, వంకరగా మారిన లోహపు ఫ్రేములు, పైకప్పు షీట్లు, ఇటుకలు, కాంక్రీట్, ప్లాస్టర్ ముక్కలతో నిండిపోయింది. బయటి భాగంలో ఉన్న అల్యూమినియం రేకుల కప్పు, తెల్లటి లోహపు కంచెలను పూర్తిగా తొలగించగా, వీసా సేవా కిటికీల చుట్టూ ఉన్న ముఖభాగం మరియు రాతి కట్టడాలు పాక్షికంగా దెబ్బతిన్నాయి. అయితే తెల్లటి గోడలు, గుమ్మటాకార నిర్మాణాలు మరియు పాకిస్తానీ చిహ్నంతో ఉన్న హైకమిషన్ ప్రధాన ప్రవేశ ద్వారం మాత్రం చెక్కుచెదరకుండా సురక్షితంగా ఉంది. ఇస్లామాబాద్లోని భారత హైకమిషన్ వెలుపల ఉన్న భద్రతా బారికేడ్లు, పార్కింగ్ స్తంభాలను పాకిస్థాన్ యంత్రాంగం తొలగించిన కొద్ది రోజుల వ్యవధిలోనే న్యూఢిల్లీలో ఈ పరిణామం చోటుచేసుకోవడం గమనార్హం.
