దేశవ్యాప్తంగా తీవ్ర స్థాయిలో ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదు అవుతున్నాయి. పంజాబ్, హర్యానా, రాజస్థాన్, యూపీ, ఢిల్లీ రాష్ట్రాల్లో మరికొన్ని రోజుల పాటు అధిక ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదు కానున్నట్లు ఐఎండీ వార్నింగ్ ఇచ్చింది. ఎండల్లో తిరగవద్దని వాతావరణశాఖ తన వార్నింగ్లో పేర్కొన్నది. అయితే మే 3వ తేదీ తర్వాత ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు తగ్గే అవకాశాలు ఉన్నట్లు ఐఎండీ వెల్లడించింది. తీవ్రమైన ఎండల వల్ల పలు ఉత్తరాది రాష్ట్రాల్లో విద్యుత్తు సరఫరాకు అంతరాయం ఏర్పడింది. హర్యానాలో కరెంటు కోత అధికంగా ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఢిల్లీలో అత్యధికంగా 46 డిగ్రీల సెంటిగ్రేడ్ ఉష్ణోగ్రత నమోదైంది. పాటియాలాలో 45.9 డిగ్రీలు, సిర్సా 45.7 డిగ్రీలు, గురుగ్రామ్ 45.6 డిగ్రీలు, జింద్ 44.7 డిగ్రీలు, అమృత్సర్ 44 డిగ్రీలు, చంఢీఘడ్ 42.2 డిగ్రీలు, గురుదాస్పూర్ 40.6 డిగ్రీల ఉష్ణోగ్రతలు నమోదు అయ్యాయి.
