అగ్నిపథ్ పథకంపై దేశవ్యాప్తంగా యువత భగ్గుమనడంతో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఎట్టకేలకు స్పందించింది. కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ కీలక ప్రకటన చేసింది. అగ్నివీరులుగా పనిచేసిన వారికి కేంద్ర సాయుధ బలగాల్లో రిజర్వేషన్ కల్పిస్తామని హోంశాఖ కార్యాలయం శనివారం ప్రకటించింది.
అగ్నిపథ్ పథకంపై దేశవ్యాప్తంగా యువత భగ్గుమనడంతో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఎట్టకేలకు స్పందించింది. కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ కీలక ప్రకటన చేసింది. అగ్నివీరులుగా పనిచేసిన వారికి కేంద్ర సాయుధ బలగాల్లో రిజర్వేషన్ కల్పిస్తామని హోంశాఖ కార్యాలయం శనివారం ప్రకటించింది. 'అగ్నిపథ్' కింద ఆర్మీకి ఎంపికై నాలుగేళ్లు సర్వీసు పూర్తి చేసుకున్న వారికి.. కేంద్ర సాయుధ పోలీసు బలగాలు, అస్సామ్ రైఫిల్స్లో 10 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్ కల్పిస్తామని వెల్లడించింది. ఈ రెండు దళాల్లో నియామకాల్లో గరిష్ట వయో పరిమితిని అగ్నివీరులకు 3 ఏళ్ల పాటు పెంచుతామని కేంద్రం తెలిపింది. అగ్నివీర్ తొలి బ్యాచ్ వారికి .. కేంద్ర సాయుధ బలగాల నియామకాల్లో గరిష్ట వయో పరిమితి 5 ఏళ్లు సడలింపు ఇవ్వనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది.
The MHA also decides to give 3 years age relaxation beyond the prescribed upper age limit to Agniveers for recruitment in CAPFs & Assam Rifles. Further, for the first batch of Agniveer, the age relaxation will be for 5 years beyond the prescribed upper age limit.
