మధురా నగర్ పరిధిలోని ఎల్లారెడ్డి గూడలో అదనపు కట్నం కోసం భార్యను తన కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో కలిసి చిత్రహింసలకు గురిచేశాడు ఓ కసాయి భర్త. అదనపు కట్నం కోసం పాలు విరిగాయి అని సాకుగా చూపి భార్యని దారుణంగా కొట్టాడు. మూడురోజుల పాటు గదిలో బంధించి పైశాచికంగా దాడి చేసి.. మీ కుమార్తె చనిపోయింది అంటూ తల్లి దండ్రులకు ఫోన్ చేసి బెదిరింపులకు గురి చేశాడు. తల్లిదండ్రులు వెంటనే కూతురు దగ్గరకు వచ్చి అపస్మారక స్థితిలో ఉన్న ఆమెను ఆస్పత్రిలో చేర్చించారు. ఈ ఘటనపై పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టారు.
