Yemen Stampede: రంజాన్ వేళ ఘోర విషాదం, యెమెన్లో ఆర్థిక సాయం పంపిణీలో తొక్కిసలాట, 80 మంది మృతి, వందలమందికి గాయాలు
అరేబియన్ దేశం యెమెన్ (Yemen) రాజధాని సనాలో ఘోర విషాదం చోటుచేసుకున్నది. రంజాన్ (Ramadan) సందర్భంగా సనాలో (Sanaa) ఏర్పాటుచేసిన ఆర్థిక సాయం పంపిణీ (Charity distribution) కార్యక్రమంలో తొక్కిసలాట (Stampede) జరిగింది. దీంతో 85 మందికిపైగా మరణించారు. 322 మందికిపైగా గాయపడ్డారు.

రంజాన్ సందర్భంగా సనాలోని బాల్ అల్-యెమెన్ (Bab al-Yemen) ప్రాంతంలో ఓ స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థ ప్రజలకు ఆర్థిక సాయం అందిస్తున్నది. దీంతో ఆర్థిక సాయం కోసం ప్రజలు పెద్దసంఖ్యలో ఎగబడ్డారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఒకరినొకరు తోసుకోవడంతో అక్కడ తీవ్ర గందరగోళం నెలకొంది. పెద్దసంఖ్యలో జనాలు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోవడంతో వారి సంబంధీకులు భారీగా అక్కడికి చేరుకున్నారు. దీంతో సైన్యం ఆ ప్రాంతాన్ని తమ ఆదీనంలోకి తీసుకున్నదని చెప్పారు. మృతుల సంఖ్య మరింత పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉందని తెలిపారు.
