భారతీయ చలనచిత్రాలు RRR, గంగూబాయి కతియావాడి, ది కాశ్మీర్ ఫైల్స్, కాంతారా.. ఆస్కార్‌కు అర్హత సాధించాయి. మొత్తం 301 చలన చిత్రాల జాబితాను అకాడమీ ఆఫ్ మోషన్ పిక్చర్ ఆర్ట్స్ అండ్ సైన్సెస్ (AMPAS) విడుదల చేసింది. రిమైండర్ జాబితాలో అధికారికంగా వివిధ కేటగిరీలలో పోటీ పడగల చలనచిత్రాలు ఉన్నాయి, అయితే జాబితాలో కేవలం ఫీచర్ చేయడం వలన జనవరి 24న ప్రకటించబడే అకాడమీ అవార్డుల తుది నామినేషన్లలో ఈ చిత్రాలు ఉంటాయా లేదా అనేది చూడాలి.
