Assam Earthquake: గౌహతిలో అర్థరాత్రి భారీ భూంకంపం, రిక్టర్ స్కేలుపై తీవ్రత 3.5గా నమోదు, నిద్ర మత్తులోనే ఇండ్ల నుంచి బయటకు పరుగులు పెట్టిన ప్రజలు

అస్సాం రాజధాని గువాహటిలో (Guwahati) భూకంపం వచ్చింది. గురువారం ఉదయం 5.42 గంటలకు గువాహటిలో భూమి కంపించింది (Earthquake). దీని తీవ్రత 3.5గా నమోదయిందని నేషనల్‌ సెంటర్‌ ఫర్‌ సీస్మోలజీ (NCS) తెలిపింది. భూ అంతర్భాగంలో 5 కిలోమీటర్ల లోతులో భూమి కంపించిందని వెల్లడించింది.ఈ విషయాన్ని నేషనల్ సెంటర్ ఫర్ సిస్మోలజీ అధికారికంగా వెల్లడించింది.

ఎన్‌సీఎస్ తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం గురువారం తెల్లవారుతుండగా ఈ భూప్రకంపనలు సంభవించాయి. భూమి లోపల 5 కిలో మీటర్ల లోతులో 26.63 డిగ్రీల అక్షాంశం, 92.08 డిగ్రీల రేఖాంశం మధ్య భూకంప కేంద్రం ఉన్నట్టు అధికారులు గుర్తించారు. ఈ భూకంప ఘటనలో ఎలాంటి ప్రాణ, ఆస్తి నష్టం జరగలేదు. కాగా దేశంలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో కొంతకాలంగా తరచుగా భూకంపాలు సంభవిస్తున్నాయి. దీంతో ఎప్పుడు ఏం జరుగుతుందో తెలియక ప్రజలు భయాందోళనలకు గురవుతున్నారు.
