ఛత్తీస్గఢ్ (Chhattisgarh)లోని బస్తర్ జిల్లాలో మావోయిస్టులు (Maoists) ఘాతుకానికి పాల్పడ్డారు. దంతేవాడలో పోలీసుల వాహనాన్ని లక్ష్యంగా చేసుకుని మందుపాతరతో పేలుడు జరిపారు. ఈ ఘటనలో 10 మంది పోలీసులు, డ్రైవర్ ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. పేలుడు తర్వాత, ఛత్తీస్గఢ్లో IED దాడిలో ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయిన DRG (డిస్ట్రిక్ట్ రిజర్వ్ గార్డ్) జవాన్ల పేర్లను పోలీసులు విడుదల చేశారు.

"అలాంటి సమాచారం మా వద్ద ఉంది. ఇది చాలా బాధాకరం. మృతుల కుటుంబాలకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి. ఈ పోరాటం చివరి దశలో ఉంది. నక్సల్స్ను విడిచిపెట్టమని అన్నారు.
