తమిళనాడు సీఎం ఎంకే స్టాలిన్ మండిపడ్డారు. హిందీయేరత రాష్ట్రాలపై బలవంతంగా హిందీని రుద్దే చర్య అని విమర్శించారు. పెరుగు ప్యాకెట్లను కూడా స్థానిక భాషల్లో కాకుండా హిందీలో లేబుల్ చేయాలంటూ నిర్దేశించే స్థాయికి చేరడం బలవంతంగా హిందీని విధించడమేనని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని దుయ్యబట్టారు.
పెరుగు ప్యాకెట్ల పేరును ‘దహీ’ (Dahi) గా మార్చాలంటూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థ ఫుడ్ సేఫ్టీ అండ్ స్టాండర్డ్స్ అథారిటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా తాజాగా ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది. పెరుగు ప్యాకెట్లపై ఇంగ్లీష్లో కర్డ్గా లేదా స్థానిక భాషల్లో పేర్కొనే లేబుల్ను ఇకపై హిందీ భాషలో ‘దహీ’గా పేర్కోవాలని ఆదేశించింది. పాల పదార్థాలైన వెన్న, జున్ను ప్యాక్లను కూడా హిందీలోనే పేర్కోవాలని సూచించింది. బ్రాకెట్లలో స్థానిక భాషాల్లో పేర్లు ఉండవచ్చని పేర్కొంది.
