Kota Suicides: నీట్ ఒత్తిడితో కోటలో ఆగని విద్యార్థుల ఆత్మహత్యలు, తాజాగా ఉరివేసుకుని మరో విద్యార్థి ఆత్మహత్య, ఇప్పటివరకు 25 మంది విద్యార్థులు సూసైడ్‌

రాజస్థాన్‌ (Rajasthan) కోట(Kota)లో విద్యార్థుల ఆత్మహత్య (Prevent Suicides)లు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. తాజాగా నీట్ (NEET) కోసం శిక్షణ తీసుకుంటున్న 16 ఏళ్ల బాలిక తాజాగా ఉరివేసుకుని ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంది.రాంచీకి చెందిన బాధిత విద్యార్థిని నగరంలోని బ్లేజ్ హాస్టల్‌లో ఉంటూ నీట్‌కు శిక్షణ పొందుతోంది.అయితే ఈ రోజు హాస్టల్ గదిలో విగతజీవిగా కనిపించింది.

తాజా ఘటనతో కలిసి ఈ ఏడాది ఇప్పటి వరకూ 25 మంది విద్యార్థులు సూసైడ్‌ చేసుకున్నారు. రాజస్థాన్‌ పోలీస్‌ డేటా ప్రకారం.. 2022లో 15 మంది, 2019లో 18 మంది, 2018లో 20 మంది, 2017లో ఏడుగురు, 2016లో 17 మంది, 2015లో 18 మంది విద్యార్థులు ఆత్మహత్యలు చేసుకున్నారు.విద్యార్థుల వరుస ఆత్మహత్య ఘటనలతో అప్రమత్తమైన రాజస్థానం ప్రభుత్వం నివారణ చర్యలు చేపట్టింది. విద్యార్థులు ఎక్కువగా ఫ్యాన్లకు ఉరివేసుకుని ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడుతున్నట్లు గుర్తించింది.

ఇటీవలే కోటాలోని అన్ని హాస్టళ్లు (Hostels), పెయింగ్‌ గెస్ట్‌ (PG) వసతుల్లో స్ప్రింగ్‌ లోడెడ్‌ ఫ్యాన్ల (Spring Loaded Fans)ను అధికారులు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. లోడ్‌ను గుర్తించిన వెంటనే అన్‌ కాయిల్‌ అయ్యేలా ఈ ఫ్యాన్లను తయారు చేశారు. లోడ్‌ అవ్వగానే సీలింగ్‌ నుంచి ఫ్యాన్‌ కిందకు జారిపోతుంది. ఈ చర్యలతో కాస్తమేర ఆత్మహత్య ఘటనలను తగ్గించొచ్చని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు.
