దేశీయ తొలి ప్రాంతీయ సెమీ హైస్పీడ్ రైలు ‘నమో భారత్ (Namo Bharat)’ పట్టాలపైకి చేరింది. ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ (Uttar Pradesh)లోని సాహిబాబాద్ స్టేషన్లో దిల్లీ-గాజియాబాద్-మేరఠ్ రీజినల్ రాపిడ్ ట్రాన్సిట్ సిస్టమ్ (RRTS) కారిడార్ను ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్రమోదీ (PM Modi) శుక్రవారం ప్రారంభించారు
దేశీయ తొలి ప్రాంతీయ సెమీ హైస్పీడ్ రైలు ‘నమో భారత్ (Namo Bharat)’ పట్టాలపైకి చేరింది. ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ (Uttar Pradesh)లోని సాహిబాబాద్ స్టేషన్లో దిల్లీ-గాజియాబాద్-మేరఠ్ రీజినల్ రాపిడ్ ట్రాన్సిట్ సిస్టమ్ (RRTS) కారిడార్ను ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్రమోదీ (PM Modi) శుక్రవారం ప్రారంభించారు. అనంతరం తొలి ర్యాపిడ్ఎక్స్ (RapidX) రైలుకు ప్రధాని జెండా ఊపారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో యూపీ గవర్నర్ ఆనందీబెన్ పటేల్, ముఖ్యమంత్రి యోగి ఆదిత్యనాథ్, కేంద్రమంత్రి హర్దీప్ సింగ్ పురి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
రైలును ప్రారంభించిన అనంతరం ప్రధాని మోదీ అందులో ప్రయాణించారు. స్కూల్ విద్యార్థులు, ర్యాపిడ్ఎక్స్ రైలు సిబ్బందితో ముచ్చటించారు. గంటకు 180 కి.మీ.గరిష్ఠ వేగంతో దూసుకెళ్లేలా తీర్చిదిద్దిన ఈ రైలులో అధునాతన సదుపాయాలు ఉంటాయి.
