Anti-Covid Drug 2DG: యాంటీ కరోనా డ్రగ్ 2–డీజీ విడుదల, నోటి ద్వారా తీసుకునే 2–డీజీ తొలిబ్యాచ్ను విడుదల చేసిన కేంద్రమంత్రి రాజ్నాథ్ సింగ్
డాక్టర్ రెడ్డీస్, డీఆర్డీవో అభివృద్ధి చేసిన కోవిడ్–19 ఔషధం ‘2– డీజీ’ తొలిబ్యాచ్ను కేంద్రమంత్రి రాజ్నాథ్ సింగ్ విడుదల చేశారు. నోటి ద్వారా తీసుకునే 2–డీజీ ఔషధాన్ని ఒక మోస్తరు నుంచి వ్యాధి తీవ్రత అధికంగా ఉన్న పేషెంట్ల చికిత్సలో వాడటానికి భారత ఔషధ నియంత్రణ సంస్థ (డీసీజీఐ) అనుమతించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.

2– డీఆక్సీ– డీ– గ్లూకోజ్ (క్లుప్తంగా 2–డీజీ) ఆసుపత్రిలో చేరిన కరోనా బాధితులు తొందరగా కోలుకోవడానికి ఉపయోగపడుతుందని, ఆక్సిజన్ పెట్టాల్సిన అవసరాన్ని తగ్గిస్తుందని క్లినికల్ ట్రయల్స్లో తేలిందని రక్షణశాఖ తెలిపింది.
