Bengaluru, May 19: బెంగళూరు (Bengaluru) నుంచి కొచ్చి వెళ్తున్న ఎయిర్ ఇండియా ఎక్స్ ప్రెస్ (Air India Express) విమానం ఇంజిన్ లో టేకాఫ్ అయిన కాసేపటికే ఒక్కసారిగా మంటలు చెలరేగాయి. దీంతో అప్రమత్తమైన పైలట్ విమానాన్ని వెనక్కి మళ్లించి బెంగళూరు లో అత్యవసరంగా ల్యాండ్ చేయడంతో పెను ప్రమాదం తప్పింది. ఆ సమయంలో విమానంలో 179 మంది ప్రయాణికులతోపాటు ఆరుగురు సిబ్బంది ఉన్నారు. విమానం సురక్షితంగా ల్యాండ్ అయిన వెంటనే ప్రయాణికులను అత్యవసరంగా ఖాళీ చేయించడంతో పెను ప్రమాదం తప్పింది.
