NITI Aayog Tax Reforms: వృద్ధులకు తప్పనిసరి సేవింగ్స్ ప్లాన్.. ప్రభుత్వ మేధోసంస్థ నీతి ఆయోగ్ సూచన
దేశ జనాభాలో ఇప్పుడు 10 శాతంగా ఉన్న వృద్ధుల సంఖ్య 2050 నాటికి 19.5 శాతానికి చేరుకొంటుందని ప్రభుత్వ మేధోసంస్థ నీతిఆయోగ్ అంచనా వేసింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో వృద్ధుల సంక్షేమానికి సంబంధించి నీతిఆయోగ్ కీలక ప్రతిపాదనలు చేసింది.
Newdelhi, Feb 20: దేశ జనాభాలో ఇప్పుడు 10 శాతంగా ఉన్న వృద్ధుల సంఖ్య (Elderly People) 2050 నాటికి 19.5 శాతానికి చేరుకొంటుందని ప్రభుత్వ మేధోసంస్థ నీతిఆయోగ్ (NITI Aayog) అంచనా వేసింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో వృద్ధుల సంక్షేమానికి సంబంధించి నీతిఆయోగ్ కీలక ప్రతిపాదనలు చేసింది. వృద్ధులకు తప్పనిసరిగా సేవింగ్స్, హౌసింగ్ ప్లాన్ ఉండేలా చూడాలని సూచించింది. అలాగే వయోధికులపై ఆర్థిక భారం పడకుండా ఉండేందుకు సీనియర్ కేర్ ఉత్పత్తులపై పన్ను తగ్గింపు, జీఎస్టీ సంస్కరణలు తేవాలని అభిప్రాయపడింది.
