బంగ్లాదేశ్ క్రికెబ్ బోర్డుకు చీఫ్ క్యురేటర్గా వ్యవహరిస్తున్న ప్రవీణ్ హింగానికర్ బుధవారం ఘరో రోడ్డు ప్రమాదానికి గురయ్యారు. మహారాష్ట్రలోని బుల్దానా జిల్లాలోని మెకర్ తాలుకా సమీపంలోని సంవృద్ది హైవేపై ఆగి ఉన్న ట్రక్ను కారు వెనుక నుంచి గుద్దింది
బంగ్లాదేశ్ క్రికెబ్ బోర్డుకు చీఫ్ క్యురేటర్గా వ్యవహరిస్తున్న ప్రవీణ్ హింగానికర్ బుధవారం ఘరో రోడ్డు ప్రమాదానికి గురయ్యారు. మహారాష్ట్రలోని బుల్దానా జిల్లాలోని మెకర్ తాలుకా సమీపంలోని సంవృద్ది హైవేపై ఆగి ఉన్న ట్రక్ను కారు వెనుక నుంచి గుద్దింది.ప్రమాదంలో కారు నుజ్జునుజ్జు కాగా ప్రవీణ్ హింగానికర్ భార్య సువర్ణ హింగానికర్ స్పాట్లోనే కన్నుమూసింది. తీవ్ర గాయాలపాలైన ప్రవీణ్ను మెకర్ రూలర్ ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించి చికిత్స అందిస్తున్నారు.
ప్రవీణ్ హింగానికర్ విదర్భ తరపున రంజీ క్రికెట్ ఆడాడు. పలు మ్యాచ్ల్లో కెప్టెన్గా వ్యవహరించిన ప్రవీణ్ 52 మ్యాచ్ల్లో 1400 పరుగులతో పాటు 47 వికెట్లు తీసుకున్నాడు. 11 లిస్ట్-ఏ మ్యాచ్ల్లో 271 పరుగులు చేయడంతో పాటు ఏడు వికెట్లు పడగొట్టాడు.
