రెండు లక్షల కిలోల గంజాయిని ఏపీ పోలీసులు దహనం చేయనున్నారు. దీని విలువ దాదాపు ఐదు వందల కోట్ల విలువైన ఉంటుందని అంచనా. దేశ చరిత్రలోనే తొలిసారి ఇంత భారీ స్థాయిలో గంజాయిని దహనం చేస్తున్నట్లు పోలీసులు చెప్పారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో డీజీపీ గౌతం సవాంగ్ పాల్గొననున్నారు. ఏడాది నుంచి పోలీసులు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్న గంజాయి రెండు లక్షల కిలోలు ఉంటుంది. దీని విలువ ఐదు వందల కోట్ల పైమాటే. ఆపరేషన్ పరివర్తన్ కార్యక్రమంతో గంజాయి సాగును, అక్రమ రవాణాను నిరోధించడానికి పోలీసు శాఖ ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తుంది. ఇందులో భాగంగా స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్న గంజాయిని నేడు విశాఖ ప్రాంతంలో పోలీసు అధికారులు దహనం చేయనున్నారు.
