తిరుపతిలో వైకుంఠ ద్వార దర్శనం టోకెన్ల జారీలో అపశ్రుతి చోటు చేసుకుంది. వైకుంఠ ద్వార దర్శనం టోకెన్ల కోసం భక్తులు పోటెత్తారు. తిరుపతిలోని మూడు ప్రాంతాల్లో జరిగిన భక్తుల మధ్య తోపులాటలో ముగ్గురు మృతి చెందారు. మృతుల్లో ముగ్గురు మహిళలుగా గుర్తించారు. 25 మందికిపైగా భక్తులు గాయపడ్డారు. వారిని రుయా ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. రుయాలో వైద్యులు పట్టించుకోకపోవడంతో క్షతగాత్రుల బంధువులు సిమ్స్కు తరలించారు. భక్తులను క్యూలైన్లలోకి వదిలే సమయంలో ఈ ఘటన చోటుచేసుకుంది. విష్ణు నివాసం, బైరాగి పట్టేడ రామానాయుడు స్కూల్ వద్ద తోపులాట జరిగింది.
