కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ఆనాడు మా మీద తప్పుడు కేసులు బనాయించడం వల్లనే నేను రాజ్యసభకు (I was able to come to the Rajya Sabha because of the Congress) రాగలిగానని వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ఎంపీ విజయసాయి రెడ్డి (MP Vijayasai Reddy) ఛలోక్తి విసిరారు.
తనను రాజ్యసభకు ఎంపిక చేసి పంపించినందుకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌మోహన్‌న్‌రెడ్డికి (CM YS Jagan) ఆయన ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు. అలాగే కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ఆనాడు మా మీద తప్పుడు కేసులు బనాయించడం వల్లనే నేను రాజ్యసభకు (I was able to come to the Rajya Sabha because of the Congress) రాగలిగానని వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ఎంపీ విజయసాయి రెడ్డి (MP Vijayasai Reddy) ఛలోక్తి విసిరారు. ఆయనతోపాటు రానున్న రెండు నెలల్లో పదవీ విరమణ చేస్తున్న 72 మంది రాజ్యసభ సభ్యులకు వీడ్కోలు పలికేందుకు గురువారం రాజ్యసభలో జరిగిన ప్రత్యేక సమావేశంలో విజయసాయిరెడ్డి మాట్లాడారు.
రాజ్యసభ చైర్మన్‌గా క్రమశిక్షణ, విలువలను, సభా మర్యాదను కాపాడేందుకు కృషి చేస్తున్న మీ నాయకత్వంలో ఈ సభలో సభ్యుడిగా కొనసాగడం అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నట్లు విజయసాయిరెడ్డి ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి ఎం.వెంకయ్యనాయుడని ఉద్దేశించి వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. చెన్నైలో చార్టర్డ్‌ అకౌంటెంట్‌గా పని చేస్తున్న తాను రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడి స్థాయికి రావడం అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. సభా కార్యక్రమాలలో తనకు సలహాలు, సూచనలు ఇచ్చిన కాంగ్రెస్ సభ్యులు జైరాం రమేష్‌కు తన గుండెల్లో ప్రత్యేక స్థానం ఉందని అన్నారు. అలాగే రాజ్యసభకు ఎన్నికైన సమయంలో తనకు మార్గదర్శనం చేసిన అకాలీదళ్‌ సభ్యులు నరేష్‌ గుజ్రాల్‌కు ఆయన ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు.
