మేడారం సమ్మక్క సారక్క జాతరలో గుండెపోటుకు గురైన భక్తుడిని అక్కడి రెస్క్యూ టీమ్ కాపాడింది.పెద్దపల్లి జిల్లాకు చెందిన రాజు అనే వ్యక్తి మేడారం జాతర క్యూ లైన్ లో ఉండగా గుండెనొప్పితో ఒక్కసారిగా శ్వాస తీసుకునేందుకు ఇబ్బంది పడ్డాడు. ఈ విషయాన్ని గమనించిన రెస్క్యూ సిబ్బంది వెంటనే స్పందించి అతడికి కృత్రిమ శ్వాస అందించారు. అనంతరం హుటాహుటిన స్థానిక ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. ప్రస్తుతం అతని పరిస్థితి నిలకడగా ఉంది.
