గుజరాత్లో ఘోర పడవ ప్రమాదం చోటు చేసుకుంది. వడోదర శివార్లలోని హర్ని సరస్సులో విహార యాత్రకు వెళ్లిన స్కూల్ విద్యార్థుల పడవ తిరిగి వస్తుండగా బోల్తా పడింది. ఈ ప్రమాదంలో పది మంది విద్యార్థులు చనిపోయారు. ప్రమాదం జరిగినపుడు పడవలో మొత్తం 27 మంది విద్యార్థులున్నారు.

గుజరాత్ ఆరోగ్య మంత్రి రుషికేశ్ పటేల్ జనవరి 18, గురువారం వడోదర పడవ బోల్తా ఘటనను విచారకరమైన సంఘటనగా పేర్కొన్నారు. మృతుల కుటుంబాలకు ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి తెలియజేస్తున్నామని, ఈ ఘటనకు బాధ్యులైన వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని ఆయన తెలిపారు. ఇప్పటివరకు పది మందిని రక్షించినట్లు రాష్ట్ర ఆరోగ్య మంత్రి కూడా తెలిపారు. ఈ ఘటనను ప్రభుత్వం చాలా సీరియస్గా తీసుకుందని, అవసరమైన ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశామని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
అగ్నిమాపక సిబ్బందితో పాటు ఎన్టీఆర్ బృందాలు గల్లంతయిన విద్యార్థుల కోసం గాలిస్తున్నట్లు గుజరాత్ విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి కుబేర్ దిండోర్ చెప్పారు. పడవ ఓవర్లోడ్ అవడం, పిల్లలెవరూ లైఫ్ జాకెట్లు ధరించకపోవడం వల్లే ప్రమాదం జరిగి ఉండొచ్చని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ ఏబీ గోర్ తెలిపారు
