2023 ఆసియా క్రీడల నుంచి అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్కు చెందిన అథ్లెట్లను నిషేధిస్తూ చైనా తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాన్ని భారత ప్రభుత్వం ఖండించింది. వీసా సమస్యల కారణంగా భారత్లోని అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్కు చెందిన ముగ్గురు మహిళా వుషు అథ్లెట్లు ఆసియా క్రీడలకు తమ జట్టులో చేరలేకపోయారని గతంలో వార్తలు వచ్చాయి.
2023 ఆసియా క్రీడల నుంచి అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్కు చెందిన అథ్లెట్లను నిషేధిస్తూ చైనా తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాన్ని భారత ప్రభుత్వం ఖండించింది. వీసా సమస్యల కారణంగా భారత్లోని అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్కు చెందిన ముగ్గురు మహిళా వుషు అథ్లెట్లు ఆసియా క్రీడలకు తమ జట్టులో చేరలేకపోయారని గతంలో వార్తలు వచ్చాయి. "అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన కొంతమంది భారతీయ అథ్లెట్లపై చైనా అధికారులు వివక్ష చూపారని, చైనాలోని హాంగ్జౌలో జరిగిన 19వ ఆసియా క్రీడలకు గుర్తింపు ప్రవేశాన్ని నిరాకరించారని భారత ప్రభుత్వం గుర్తించిందని MEA ప్రతినిధి అరిందమ్ బాగ్చి ఈ విషయం గురించి అడిగినప్పుడు చెప్పారు. దీని ప్రకారం నివాస లేదా జాతి ప్రాతిపదికన భారతీయ పౌరుల పట్ల భేదాత్మకంగా వ్యవహరించడాన్ని భారతదేశం తిరస్కరిస్తుంది. అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ భారతదేశం అంతర్భాగంగా ఉంది.
