విశాఖలో పాల ధర పెంపు కోరుతూ ఉత్తరాంధ్ర జిల్లాల రైతుల విశాఖ డైయిరీ ముట్టడి ఉద్రిక్తంగా మారింది. నిరసన తెలుపుతున్న రైతులను, రైతు నాయకులను పోలీసులు అడ్డుకున్నారు. కొందరు రైతులు విశాఖ డైయిరీ ప్రధాన గేట్లను తోసుకుంటూ డైయిరీలోకి వెళ్లే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. లోపలకు దూసుకుంటూ వెళ్లిన రైతులు, రైతు సంఘాల నాయకులు డెయిరీ లోపల చైర్మన్ ఛాంబర్ వద్ద ధర్నా నిర్వహించారు. పాల సేకరణ రేటును లీటరుకు రూ. 4 తగ్గించినందుకు రైతులు ముట్టడించినట్లుగా వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి. విశాఖ డెయిరిలో రైతులకు న్యాయం జరిగేలాగా పాల ధర పెంచడానికి బోర్డు మీటింగ్ లో త్వరలో చర్చించి నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటానని విశాఖ డెయిరి ఎండి రమణ రైతులకు సోమవారం హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
