ఉత్తర భారతదేశం భారీ భూకంపంతో వణికిపోయింది. దేశ రాజధాని ఢిల్లీతోపాటు ఎన్సీఆర్ రీజియన్, పంజాబ్, జమ్ము కశ్మీర్లో భూమి కంపించింది. పొరుగు దేశం పాకిస్తాన్లోని ఇస్లామాబాద్లో ఈ ప్రభావం కనిపించింది. భూకంపం తీవ్రత రిక్టర్ స్కేల్పై 6.1గా నమోదైంది.
