ఈ సంవత్సరం గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవం యొక్క 'విక్షిత్ భారత్', 'భారత్: ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి మాతృక' అనే థీమ్తో ఈ ఏడాది వేడుకలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా ఢిల్లీలోని నేషనల్ వార్ మెమోరియల్ వద్ద అమరవీరులకు ప్రధాని మోదీ నివాళులర్పించారు.
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 75వ గణతంత్ర వేడుకలు ఘనంగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీ, ఈ ఏడాది వేడుకలకు ముఖ్య అతిథిగా వచ్చిన ఫ్రాన్స్ అధ్యక్షుడు ఇమాన్యుయేల్ మాక్రాన్ దేశ ప్రజలకు శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. ‘‘75వ గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవ ప్రత్యేక సందర్భంలో శుభాకాంక్షలు. జై హింద్!’’ అంటూ ‘ఎక్స్’ వేదికగా ప్రధాని మోదీ స్పందించారు. ఇక ఇమాన్యుయేల్ మాక్రాన్ కూడా భారత పౌరులకు శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు.
