భార్యకు ఇష్టంలేని శృంగారం (మారిటల్ రేప్) నేరం కాదని ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ లోని అలహాబాద్ హైకోర్టు సంచలన తీర్పు చెప్పింది.
Newdelhi, Dec 11: భార్యకు ఇష్టంలేని శృంగారం (మారిటల్ రేప్) (Marital Rape) నేరం కాదని ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ (Uttarpradesh) లోని అలహాబాద్ హైకోర్టు (Allahabad Highcourt) సంచలన తీర్పు చెప్పింది. భార్యకు 18 ఏండ్లు నిండితే వైవాహిక అత్యాచారాన్ని భారత శిక్షా స్మృతి ప్రకారం నేరంగా పరిగణించలేమని స్పష్టం చేసింది. పెళ్లయ్యాక తనకు ఇష్టం లేకున్నా భర్త కలిసేందుకు ప్రయత్నించాడని, తనను హింసించాడని ఓ భార్య వేసిన పిటిషన్పై విచారణ చేపట్టిన కోర్టు, ఈ మేరకు తీర్పు వెలువరించింది. భర్తను నిర్దోషిగా తేలుస్తూ తీర్పు చెప్పింది.
