పారిస్ పారాలింపిక్స్ 2024(paris paralympics 2024)లో భారత్‌కు రెండో బంగారు పతకం లభించింది. పురుషుల సింగిల్స్ బ్యాడ్మింటన్ SL3 విభాగంలో పారా బ్యాడ్మింటన్ క్రీడాకారుడు నితీష్ కుమార్(Nitish Kumar) స్వర్ణ పతకాన్ని గెలుచుకున్నాడు. దీంతో ఇప్పుడు ఈ పారాలింపిక్స్‌లో భారత్‌కు మొత్తం 9 పతకాలు లభించాయి. పారా బ్యాడ్మింటన్ పురుషుల సింగిల్స్ SL3 ఈవెంట్ ఫైనల్లో నితేష్ కుమార్ గ్రేట్ బ్రిటన్‌కు చెందిన డేనియల్ బెతెల్‌తో తలపడ్డాడు. ఇద్దరు ఆటగాళ్ల మధ్య గట్టి పోటీ నెలకొనగా, చివరకు నితీష్ కుమార్ 21-14, 18-21, 23-21 తేడాతో గ్రాండ్ విక్టరీ సాధించాడు.  పారిస్ పారాలింపిక్స్‌లో భారత్‌కు మరో పతకం, పురుషుల డిస్కస్ త్రో F56 ఈవెంట్‌లో రజత పతకం సాధించిన యోగేష్ కథునియా
