కేరళలోని వయనాడ్లో భారీగా కొండచరియలు(Wayanad Landslides) విరిగిపడ్డాయి. భారీ వర్షాలకు తీవ్రమైన వరద తోడు కావడంతో మట్టిచరియలు విరిగిపడి కొట్టుకుపోయాయి. ఈ ఘటనలో మృతిచెందిన వారి సంఖ్య 84కు పెరిగింది.మెప్పడి, ముందక్కాయి పట్టణం, చూరల్ మాలాలో ల్యాండ్స్లైడ్ జరిగింది.
కేరళలోని వయనాడ్లో భారీగా కొండచరియలు(Wayanad Landslides) విరిగిపడ్డాయి. భారీ వర్షాలకు తీవ్రమైన వరద తోడు కావడంతో మట్టిచరియలు విరిగిపడి కొట్టుకుపోయాయి. ఈ ఘటనలో మృతిచెందిన వారి సంఖ్య 84కు పెరిగింది.మెప్పడి, ముందక్కాయి పట్టణం, చూరల్ మాలాలో ల్యాండ్స్లైడ్ జరిగింది. తొలుత రాత్రి ఒంటి గంటకు ముందక్కాయి పట్టణంలో వర్షం వల్ల కొండచరియలు విరిగిపడ్డాయి. అక్కడ రెస్క్యూ ఆపరేషన్ జరుగుతున్న సమయంలోనే.. చూరల్మాలాలో తెల్లవారుజామున 4 గంటలకు మట్టిచరియలు విరిగిపడ్డాయి. క్యాంపుగా మారిన స్కూల్తో పాటు సమీప ఇండ్లలోకి నీరు ప్రవేశించింది. వరద నీరు, బురదతో నిండిపోయాయి. వయనాడ్ విలయంలో 84కి పెరిగిన మృతుల సంఖ్య, ఇంకా శిథిలాల కింద వందలాది మంది బాధితులు, కొనసాగుతున్న సహాయక చర్యలు
