నేపాల్‌, ఒమన్ జట్లు చరిత్ర సృష్టించాయి. యూఎస్‌ఎ, వెస్టిండీస్‌ వేదికలగా జరగనున్న టీ20 ప్రపంచకప్‌-2024కు అర్హత సాధించాయి. ఆసియా క్వాలిఫయర్స్ సెమీఫైనల్‌-2 లో యూఏఈను 8 వికెట్ల తేడాతో చిత్తు చేసిన నేపాల్‌.. తొలిసారి టీ20 వరల్డ్‌కప్‌కు క్వాలిఫై అయింది. 135 పరుగుల లక్ష్యాన్ని నేపాల్‌ కేవలం 2 వికెట్లు మాత్రమే నష్టపోయి 17.1 ఓవర్లలో ఛేదించింది. ఇక ఒమన్ కూడా అర్హత సాధించింది.

అదే విధంగా టీ20 ర్యాంకింగ్స్‌ ప్రకారం 9, 10 స్ధానాల్లో నిలిచిన ఆఫ్ఘనిస్తాన్‌, బంగ్లాదేశ్‌ కూడా డైరక్ట్‌గా క్వాలిఫై అయ్యాయి. మిగిలిన 8 బెర్తులు వివిధ రీజియన్ల క్వాలిఫయింగ్‌ పోటీల ద్వారా భర్తీ చేయబడతాయి. క్వాలిఫయర్స్‌ ద్వారా ఇప్పటికే ఐర్లాండ్‌, పపువా న్యూ గినియా, స్కాట్లాండ్‌, కెనడా అర్హత సాధించగా.. తాజాగా ఈ జాబితాలో నేపాల్‌, ఒమన్ చేరాయి.
