ముందుగా హెలికాప్టర్తో ‘గెలాక్సీ లీడర్’ (Galaxy Leader) నౌకను వెంబడించిన హౌతి రెబల్స్ అనంతరం నౌక డెక్పై ల్యాండయ్యారు. తిరుగుబాటు దారులు తుపాకులు చేతపట్టి నౌకలోకి దిగి గాల్లోకి కాల్పులు జరిపారు. అనంతరం లోపలికి ప్రవేశించి షిప్ను పూర్తిగా తమ ఆధీనంలోకి తీసుకున్నారు. తర్వాత దానిని యెమెన్ తీర ప్రాంతానికి తరలించారు.
