అమెరికాలోని న్యూజెర్సీలో చదువుతున్న 20, 22 ఏళ్ల ఇద్దరు భారతీయ విద్యార్థులు ఓ దుకాణంలో చోరీకి పాల్పడిన కేసులో అరెస్టయ్యారు. ఈ ఇద్దరు మహిళలు డబ్బు చెల్లించకుండా హోబోకెన్ డౌన్టౌన్లోని దుకాణాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టడానికి ప్రయత్నించారు.
అమెరికాలోని న్యూజెర్సీలో చదువుతున్న 20, 22 ఏళ్ల ఇద్దరు భారతీయ విద్యార్థులు ఓ దుకాణంలో చోరీకి పాల్పడిన కేసులో అరెస్టయ్యారు. ఈ ఇద్దరు మహిళలు డబ్బు చెల్లించకుండా హోబోకెన్ డౌన్టౌన్లోని దుకాణాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టడానికి ప్రయత్నించారు. హైదరాబాద్కు చెందిన 20 ఏళ్ల యువతి, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లోని గుంటూరుకు చెందిన 22 ఏళ్ల మరో యువతి కొన్ని వస్తువులకు డబ్బు చెల్లించకుండా అమెరికాలోని దుకాణాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టడానికి ప్రయత్నించారు. షాప్రైట్ స్టోర్ హోబోకెన్ పోలీసులను అప్రమత్తం చేయడంతో ఇద్దరు తెలుగు అమ్మాయిలను అరెస్టు చేశారు.
హోబోకెన్ నగర పోలీసులు సంఘటనా స్థలానికి చేరుకుని దుకాణం చోరీ చేయడం నేరమని, వారిని కోర్టులో హాజరు పరుస్తామని విద్యార్థులకు వివరించారు. ఇంతకు ముందు చెల్లించని దానికి రెట్టింపు చెల్లిస్తామని ఒక యువతి చెప్పగా, మరొకరు మళ్లీ ఇలా చేయమని వదిలిపెట్టమని కోరింది. అయితే పోలీసులు నిబంధనలను వివరించి అరెస్ట్ చేశారు. దుకాణంలో చోరీ ఘటన మార్చి 19న జరిగింది.
