403 Indian Students Died in Foreign Countries: విదేశాలకు చదువుల కోసం వెళ్ళిన 403 మంది విద్యార్థులు మృతి, అత్యధికంగా కెనడాలో 91 మంది మృతి

Over 400 Indian students died abroad in 5 years: గత కొన్నేళ్లేగా విదేశాల్లో (foreign countries) చదువుకునేందుకు వెళ్లిన అనేక మంది భారతీయ విద్యార్థులు (Indian students) అక్కడే ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. 2018 నుంచి ఇప్పటివరకు 400 మందికి పైనే విద్యార్థులు విదేశాల్లో మృతిచెందినట్లు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తాజాగా వెల్లడించింది. ఇందులో అత్యధిక మరణాలు కెనడా (Canada)లోనే చోటుచేసుకున్నట్లు తెలిపింది.

ఈ మేరకు కేంద్ర విదేశాంగ శాఖ సహాయ మంత్రి వి. మురళీధరన్‌ రాజ్యసభకు సమర్పించిన లిఖిత పూర్వక సమాధానంలో వెల్లడించారు. విదేశీ వ్యవహారాల మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ డేటా ప్రకారం.. గత ఐదేళ్లలో మొత్తంగా 34 దేశాల్లో 403 మంది భారతీయ విద్యార్థులు మరణించారు. అత్యధికంగా కెనడాలో 91 మంది మృతిచెందారు. ఆ తర్వాత యూకేలో 48, రష్యాలో 40, అమెరికాలో 36, ఆస్ట్రేలియాలో 35, ఉక్రెయిన్‌లో 21, జర్మనీలో 20, సైప్రస్‌లో 14, ఇటలీ, ఫిలిప్పీన్స్‌లో 10 మంది చొప్పున విద్యార్థులు ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు.
