ఇటీవలే శాకుంతలం చిత్రంలో నటించిన సమంత నటన చూసి సందీప్ ఆమె గౌరవార్థం ఒక ఆలయాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసి మరో అడుగు ముందుకేశాడు.
నటి సమంత వీరాభిమాని ఒకరైన తెనాలి సందీప్ ఆమె గౌరవార్థం ఆలయాన్ని నిర్మించారు. ఇటీవలే శాకుంతలం చిత్రంలో నటించిన సమంత నటన చూసి సందీప్ ఆమె గౌరవార్థం ఒక ఆలయాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసి మరో అడుగు ముందుకేశాడు. ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ బాపట్లలోని ఆలపాడు గ్రామంలో ఉన్న ఈ ఆలయాన్ని సమంత పుట్టినరోజు ఏప్రిల్ 28న ప్రారంభించారు. దక్షిణ భారత దేశంలో అభిమానులు తమ అభిమాన నటులు, నటీమణుల గౌరవార్థం తరచుగా దేవాలయాలను నిర్మిస్తారు. గతంలో నయనతార, హన్సిక, నమిత పేర్లతో దేవాలయాలు ఉండగా, ఇప్పుడు వారి సరసన సమంత కూడా చేరింది. సందీప్ ఇంతవరకూ సమంతను పర్సనల్‌గా కలవకపోవడం ఆసక్తిని పెంచుతోంది.
