నగదుతో పని లేకుండానే నేరుగా ప్రయాణికులు క్యూఆర్‌ కోడ్‌ సాయంతో జనరల్‌ టికెట్లు కొనుగోలు చేయడానికి రైల్వే శాఖ క్యూఆర్‌ కోడ్‌ సౌకర్యాన్ని అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చింది.
Vijayawada, Apr 6: నగదుతో పని లేకుండానే నేరుగా ప్రయాణికులు క్యూఆర్‌ కోడ్‌ (QR Code) సాయంతో జనరల్‌ టికెట్లు (General Tickets) కొనుగోలు చేయడానికి రైల్వే శాఖ క్యూఆర్‌ కోడ్‌ సౌకర్యాన్ని అందుబాటులోకి తెచ్చింది. జనరల్‌ టికెట్ల కొనుగోలును సులభతరం చేయడంతో పాటు డిజిటల్‌, నగదు రహిత లావాదేవీలను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు దీన్ని తీసుకొచ్చినట్టు తెలిపింది. తొలి దశలో పైలెట్‌ ప్రాజెక్టు కింద విజయవాడ రైల్వేస్టేషన్‌ తో పాటు డివిజన్‌ పరిధిలోని తెనాలి, ఏలూరు, రాజమహేంద్రవరంలో ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.
