1901 నుంచి గడిచిన 124 ఏళ్లలో 2024 అత్యంత వేడి సంవత్సరంగా నిలిచిందని వాతావరణ కేంద్రం వెల్లడించింది. 2024లో నేలపై కనిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రతల సగటు సాధారణ సగటు కంటే 0.65 డిగ్రీ సెల్సియస్ ఎక్కువగా ఉందని పేర్కొంది.
Newdelhi, Jan 10: 1901 నుంచి గడిచిన 124 ఏళ్లలో 2024 అత్యంత వేడి సంవత్సరంగా (Warmest Year 2024) నిలిచిందని వాతావరణ కేంద్రం వెల్లడించింది. 2024లో నేలపై కనిష్ఠ ఉష్ణోగ్రతల సగటు సాధారణ సగటు కంటే 0.65 డిగ్రీ సెల్సియస్ ఎక్కువగా ఉందని పేర్కొంది. 1901 నుంచి 2020 వరకు నమోదైన దీర్ఘకాలిక సగటు కంటే ఇది చాలా ఎక్కువని భారత వాతావరణ కేంద్రం డైరెక్టర్ జనరల్ మృత్యుంజయ్ మొహపాత్ర తెలిపారు. అందుకే 2024 ఏడాది గత 124 ఏళ్లలో అత్యంత వేడి సంవత్సరంగా నిలిచిందని అన్నారు. దాంతో ఇప్పటివరకు అత్యంత వేడి సంవత్సరంగా నమోదై ఉన్న 2016 రెండో స్థానానికి వెళ్లిపోయిందని చెప్పారు. 2016లో నేలపై సాధారణ కనిష్ఠ సగటు ఉష్ణోగ్రత కంటే 0.54 సెల్సియస్ ఎక్కువగా నమోదైందని అన్నారు.
