ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కొత్త డీజీపీగా హరీష్కుమార్ గుప్తా నియమితులయ్యారు. ఈమేరకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కె.విజయానంద్ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేశారు. ఈ నెల 31న ప్రస్తుత డీజీపీ సీహెచ్ ద్వారకా తిరుమలరావు పదవీవిరమణ చేయనున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో హరీష్కుమార్ గుప్తాను తదుపరి డీజీపీగా నియమించారు
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కొత్త డీజీపీగా హరీష్కుమార్ గుప్తా నియమితులయ్యారు. ఈమేరకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి కె.విజయానంద్ ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేశారు. ఈ నెల 31న ప్రస్తుత డీజీపీ సీహెచ్ ద్వారకా తిరుమలరావు పదవీవిరమణ చేయనున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో హరీష్కుమార్ గుప్తాను తదుపరి డీజీపీగా నియమించారు. 1992 బ్యాచ్కు చెందిన ఆయన ప్రస్తుతం విజిలెన్స్ అండ్ ఎన్ఫోర్స్మెంట్ విభాగం డైరెక్టర్ జనరల్గా బాధ్యతలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. సార్వత్రిక ఎన్నికల సమయంలో హరీష్ గుప్తాను ఎన్నికల సంఘం డీజీపీగా నియమించింది. దీంతో కొన్నిరోజుల పాటు ఆయన ఆ పోస్టులో కొనసాగారు. కూటమి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక తిరుమలరావును డీజీపీగా నియమించింది.
