యూపీఐ లావాదేవీలు జనవరి 2025లో రికార్డు స్థాయిలో 16.99 బిలియన్(1,699 కోట్లు)లకు చేరుకున్నాయి. వీటి మొత్తం విలువ రూ.23.48 లక్షల కోట్లు దాటింది. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా జరిగే మొత్తం రిటైల్‌ చెల్లింపుల్లో యూపీఐ ద్వారా జరిగే లావాదేవీలే 80 శాతానికిపైగా ఉన్నట్లు గణాంకాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. 641 బ్యాంకులు, 80 యూపీఐ యాప్‌లు ఈ వ్యవస్థలో భాగస్వామ్యం అయ్యాయి.యూపీఐ లావాదేవీలు పెరగడం భారత ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థపై సానుకూల ప్రభావాన్ని చూపుతోంది. ఇది అంతరాయం లేని ఆర్థిక లావాదేవీలను సులభతరం చేసింది. నగదుపై ఆధారపడటాన్ని తగ్గించింది.ప్రభుత్వం, ఆర్థిక సంస్థలు, టెక్నాలజీ ప్రొవైడర్ల నిరంతర మద్దతుతో భారత డిజిటల్ చెల్లింపు వ్యవస్థకు యూపీఐ దన్నుగా నిలుస్తోంది.
