ఈ ఘటనపై మెక్సికో సిటీ మేయర్ క్లాడియా షీన్బామ్ స్పందిస్తూ.. మెట్రో రైల్‌ వెళుతుండగా బ్రిడ్జ్‌ కూలిపోవటంతో ఈ ప్రమాదం జరిగిందని తెలిపారు. రాత్రి 10.30 సమయంలో ఈ ఘటన జరిగినట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు. క్షతగాత్రులకు వైద్యం అందించాలని అధికారులును ఆదేశించినట్లు తెలిపారు. ఈ ప్రమాదం జరగడానికి గల కారణాలపై పోలీసులు దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్నారు. కాగా, ప్రమాద ఘటనకు సంబంధించి సీసీ టీవీ దృశ్యాలు వైరల్‌గా మారాయి.
