కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం కమిషన్గా బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టారు జ్ఞానేశ్ కుమార్ (Gyanesh Kumar). ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడిన జ్ఞానేశ్ కుమార్.... దేశ నిర్మాణానికి మొదటి అడుగు ఓటే అని అన్నారు.
కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం (Chief Election Commissioner) కమిషన్గా బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టారు జ్ఞానేశ్ కుమార్ (Gyanesh Kumar). ఈ సందర్భంగా మాట్లాడిన జ్ఞానేశ్ కుమార్.... దేశ నిర్మాణానికి మొదటి అడుగు ఓటే అని అన్నారు. 18 ఏళ్లు నిండిన ప్రతి భారతీయుడూ ఓటరుగా మారాలని...ఓటర్లు ఎన్నికల్లో తప్పకుండా ఓటు వేయాలి అని అన్నారు.
కేరళ క్యాడర్కు చెందిన 1988 బ్యాచ్ ఐఏఎస్ అధికారి. 2029 జనవరి 26వ తేదీ వరకూ కొనసాగనున్నారు. ఈ ఏడాది చివరిలో బిహార్, వచ్చే ఏడాదిలో కేరళ, తమిళనాడు, పుదుచ్చేరి, పశ్చిమబెంగాల్ అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలు జరగనున్నాయి. రాష్ట్రపతి, ఉపరాష్ట్రపతి ఎన్నికలు కూడా ఆయన హయాంలోనే 2027లో జరుగనున్నాయి.
