డాలర్తో పోలిస్తే రూపాయి మారకం విలువ నేడు దారుణంగా పతనమైంది. డాలర్తో పోలిస్తే తొలిసారిగా 85 రూపాయలకు పడిపోయింది. యూఎస్ ఫెడరల్ రిజర్వ్ కీలక వడ్డీ రేట్లను 25 బీపీఎస్ను తగ్గించడం, 2025 నాటికి మరిన్ని తగ్గింపులు ఉండే అవకాశం ఉందన్న సంకేతాల నేపథ్యంలో రూపాయి విలువ క్షీణించింది.బుధవారం రూపాయి మారకం విలువ రూ. 84.9525కు పడిపోగా, గురువారం మరింత క్షీణించి రూ. 85.0650కు దిగజారింది.

రెండు నెలల్లోనే రూపాయి మారకం విలువ రూ. 84 నుంచి 85కు పడిపోవడం గమనార్హం. అదే సమయంలో రూ. 83 నుంచి రూ. 84కు క్షీణించడానికి 14 నెలల సమయం పట్టింది. అంతకుముందు రూ. 82 నుంచి రూ. 83కు పతనం కావడానికి 10 నెలల సమయం పట్టగా, ఇప్పుడు కేవలం రెండు నెలల్లోనే రూ. 84 నుంచి రూ. 85కు పడిపోయింది.
