వెనెజులాలో (Venezuela) ఘోర రోడ్డు ప్రమాదం చోటు చేసుకుంది. 17 వాహనాలు ఒకదానికొకటి ఢీ కొనడంతో భారీగా మంటలు చెలరేగాయి. ఈ ఘటనలో 16 మంది ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయారు. మరికొంతమంది తీవ్రంగా గాయపడ్డారు.వెనెజులాలోని ఓ హైవేపై బుధవారం ఈ ప్రమాదం సంభవించింది. ముందుగా ఓ ట్రక్కు అతివేగంగా వెళ్తూ అనేక కార్లను ఢీ కొట్టడంతో ఈ ప్రమాదం సంభవించింది. ఓ బస్సు, పలు కార్లు సహా మొత్తం 17 వాహనాలు మంటల్లో చిక్కుకున్నాయి. సమాచారం అందుకున్న వెంటనే స్థానిక అధికారులు ఘటనా స్థలికి చేరుకొని సహాయక చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. క్షతగాత్రులను చికిత్స నిమిత్తం స్థానిక ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. ప్రమాద తీవ్రత ఎక్కువగా ఉన్న నేపథ్యంలో మృతుల సంఖ్య మరింత పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
