ఢిల్లీలోని ఇందిరా గాంధీ అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయంలో ఇవాళ ఒక పెద్ద ప్రమాదం తృటిలో తప్పింది. ఎయిర్ ఇండియా విమానం సమీపంలో పార్క్ చేసి ఉంచిన ఓ బస్సులో అగ్ని ప్రమాదం చోటుచేసుకోవడంతో కాసేపు ఎయిర్పోర్ట్లో కలకలం చెలరేగింది. ఈ ఘటన మంగళవారం మధ్యాహ్నం 3వ టెర్మినల్లోని 32వ బేలో చోటుచేసుకుంది. ఆ బస్సు ఎస్ఏటీఎస్ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్ సర్వీసెస్ ప్రైవేట్ లిమిటెడ్ సంస్థకు చెందినదని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. అదృష్టవశాత్తూ, ఘటన సమయంలో బస్సులో ఎవరూ లేరు.
సమీపంలో ఉన్న సిబ్బంది వెంటనే అగ్నిమాపక బృందానికి సమాచారం అందించగా, ఎయిర్పోర్ట్ రెస్క్యూ అండ్ ఫైర్ ఫైటింగ్ (ARFF) విభాగానికి చెందిన నిపుణులు వేగంగా స్పందించి మంటలను పూర్తిగా అదుపులోకి తెచ్చారు. కేవలం కొన్ని నిమిషాల్లోనే మంటలు ఆర్పివేయడంతో ఎటువంటి నష్టం జరగలేదు. ఎయిర్ ఇండియా విమానం కేవలం కొన్ని మీటర్ల దూరంలోనే ఉండటంతో, క్షణాల్లో ఆ మంటలు వ్యాపించి పెద్ద ప్రమాదం జరిగే అవకాశం ఉండేదని అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు. అయితే, సకాలంలో చర్యలు తీసుకోవడంతో పెద్ద ప్రమాదం తప్పిందని తెలిపారు. అధికారుల తెలిపిన వివరాల ప్రకారం ఈ అగ్నిప్రమాదంలో ఎవరూ గాయపడలేదు. బస్సులో ప్రయాణికులు లేదా సామాను ఏదీ లేవని పోలీసులు ధృవీకరించారు.
