భారత్ (India) లో గత కొన్నేండ్లుగా సంతానోత్పత్తి రేటు (Fertility Rate) భారీగా తగ్గిపోతున్నట్టు లాన్సెట్ జర్నల్ (Lancet) లో ప్రచురితమైన ఒక అంతర్జాతీయ అధ్యయనంలో వెల్లడైంది.
Newdelhi, Mar 22: భారత్ (India) లో గత కొన్నేండ్లుగా సంతానోత్పత్తి రేటు (Fertility Rate) భారీగా తగ్గిపోతున్నట్టు లాన్సెట్ జర్నల్ (Lancet) లో ప్రచురితమైన ఒక అంతర్జాతీయ అధ్యయనంలో వెల్లడైంది. గ్లోబల్ బర్డెన్ ఆఫ్ డిసీజ్(జీబీడీ) అనే సంస్థకు చెందిన పరిశోధకులు చేసిన ఈ అధ్యయనంలో ఆసక్తికర విషయాలు వెల్లడయ్యాయి. మన దేశంలో 1950 సంవత్సరంలో 6.2గా ఉన్న సంతానోత్పత్తి రేటు 2021 నాటికి 2.0 దిగువకు తగ్గిపోయిందని ఈ అధ్యయనం పేర్కొన్నది. ఇది మరింత తగ్గబోతున్నదని, 2050 నాటికి 1.29కి, 2100 సంవత్సరానికికి 1.04కి తగ్గుతుందని అంచనా వేసింది. పేద దేశాల్లో సంతానోత్పత్తి రేటు పెరుగుతున్నట్టు అధ్యయనం తెలిపింది.
