ఆదిపురుష్ టీజర్ను వరుసగా వివాదాలు చూట్టుముడుతున్నాయి. టీజర్లో హనుమంతుడు ధరించిన అంగవస్త్రం తోలుతో(లెదర్ తో) తయారు చేసినట్టు చూపించారు. అది హిందు మత విశ్వాసలను దెబ్బతీసేలా ఉంది. హనుమాన్ చాలీసాలో హనుమంతుడు ఎలా ఉంటారనేది స్పష్టంగా వివరించబడింది. కానీ దర్శకుడు ఇంకేదో చేసి చూపించారు’ అని మధ్యప్రదేశ్ హోంమంత్రి నరోత్తమ్ మిశ్రా మండిపడ్డారు.ఇలాంటి అభ్యంతకర సన్నివేశాలను దర్శకుడు సినిమా నుంచి తొలగించాలని ఆయన డిమాండ్ చేశారు. అంతేకాదు ఈ విషయమై దర్శకుడు ఓం రౌత్కు లేఖ రాస్తానన్నారు. ఇక తమ డిమాండ్ మేరకు ఓం రౌత్ ఆ సన్నివేశాలను తొలగించకపోతే చట్టపరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని ఆయన హెచ్చిరించారు.
