ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా క్యాన్సర్ మహమ్మారి కోరలు చాస్తున్నది. ఇటీవల కాలంలో క్యాన్సర్ కేసులు, మరణాలు భారీగా పెరుగుతున్నాయి. ఒక్క భారత్లోనే 2022లోనే 14.1 లక్షల క్యాన్సర్ కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి.
Newdelhi, Feb 3: ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా క్యాన్సర్ (Cancer) మహమ్మారి కోరలు చాస్తున్నది. ఇటీవల కాలంలో క్యాన్సర్ కేసులు (Cancer Cases), మరణాలు భారీగా పెరుగుతున్నాయి. ఒక్క భారత్లోనే 2022లోనే 14.1 లక్షల క్యాన్సర్ కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి. 9.1 లక్షల మంది మృతి చెందారు. భారత్లో అత్యధిక మరణాలకు కారణమవుతున్న వ్యాధుల్లో క్యాన్సర్ రెండో స్థానంలో ఉన్నది. ఈ మేరకు ప్రపంచ ఆరోగ్య సంస్థ (డబ్ల్యూహెచ్వో) తాజా నివేదికలో వెల్లడైంది.
