యూపీ క్యాడర్కు చెందిన మాజీ ఐఏఎస్ అధికారి అనూప్ చంద్ర పాండే కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల కమిషనర్గా నియమితులయ్యారు. అనూప్ చంద్ర నియామకానికి రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్నాథ్ కోవింద్ ఆమోదముద్ర వేశారని కేంద్ర న్యాయశాఖ మంగళవారం వెల్లడించింది.
యూపీ క్యాడర్కు చెందిన మాజీ ఐఏఎస్ అధికారి అనూప్ చంద్ర పాండే కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల కమిషనర్గా నియమితులయ్యారు. అనూప్ చంద్ర నియామకానికి రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్నాథ్ కోవింద్ ఆమోదముద్ర వేశారని కేంద్ర న్యాయశాఖ మంగళవారం వెల్లడించింది. ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల కమిషనర్గా పనిచేసిన సునీల్ అరోరా ఈ ఏడాది ఏప్రిల్ 12న పదవీ విరమణ చేయడంతో ఈ ఖాళీ ఏర్పడింది. ప్రస్తుతం సుశీల్ చంద్ర ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల కమిషనర్ కాగా, రాజీవ్ కుమార్ ఎన్నికల కమిషనర్గా ఉన్నారు. ఎలక్షన్ కమిషన్లో మొత్తం ముగ్గురు సభ్యులు ఉంటారు.
