Dahi Row: పెరుగు ప్యాకెట్ కావాలంటే ఇక దహి అని పిలవాల్సిందే, లేబుల్ పేరును దహిగా మారుస్తూ అన్ని రాష్ట్రాలకు మార్గదర్శకాలు జారీ చేసిన FSSAI

పెరుగు ప్యాకెట్ల పేరును ‘దహీ’ (Dahi) గా మార్చాలంటూ కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థ ఫుడ్ సేఫ్టీ అండ్ స్టాండర్డ్స్ అథారిటీ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా తాజాగా ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది. పెరుగు ప్యాకెట్లపై ఇంగ్లీష్‌లో కర్డ్‌గా లేదా స్థానిక భాషల్లో పేర్కొనే లేబుల్‌ను ఇకపై హిందీ భాషలో ‘దహీ’గా పేర్కోవాలని ఆదేశించింది. పాల పదార్థాలైన వెన్న, జున్ను ప్యాక్‌లను కూడా హిందీలోనే పేర్కోవాలని సూచించింది. బ్రాకెట్లలో స్థానిక భాషాల్లో పేర్లు ఉండవచ్చని పేర్కొంది.

Food Safety and Standards Authority says curd sold in southern states has to be labeled as 'dahi' and the local language word can be put in brackets after that. I say that at least half the members of the Authority at any time should be from South India. Problem (will be) solved.
