శ్రీలంక మాజీ క్రికెటర్ ధమ్మిక నిరోషణ (41) భార్యాపిల్లల ముందే దారుణహత్యకు గురయ్యాడు. మంగళవారం రాత్రి అంబలంగోడాలోని అతడి నివాసంలో ఓ దుండగుడు తుపాకీతో కాల్చి చంపాడు. హత్యకు పాల్పడ్డ దుండగుడిని గుర్తించేందుకు పోలీసులు రంగంలోకి దిగి, దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్నారు.
శ్రీలంక మాజీ క్రికెటర్ ధమ్మిక నిరోషణ (41) భార్యాపిల్లల ముందే దారుణహత్యకు గురయ్యాడు. మంగళవారం రాత్రి అంబలంగోడాలోని అతడి నివాసంలో ఓ దుండగుడు తుపాకీతో కాల్చి చంపాడు. హత్యకు పాల్పడ్డ దుండగుడిని గుర్తించేందుకు పోలీసులు రంగంలోకి దిగి, దర్యాప్తు చేస్తున్నారు. దీనిని ముఠా కక్షలుగా భావిస్తున్నామని, నిందితుడిని పట్టుకునేందుకు అన్వేషిస్తున్నట్టు శ్రీలంక పోలీసు అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. నిరోషణ 2002లో శ్రీలంక అండర్-19 క్రికెట్ జట్టుకు కెప్టెన్గా వ్యవహరించాడు. అండర్ -19 జట్టుకు నిరోషణ సారధ్యం వహించినప్పుడు ఏంజెలో మాథ్యూస్, ఉపుల్ తరంగ, ఫర్వీజ్ మహరూఫ్ జట్టులో ఉన్నారు. చితక్కొట్టిన యశస్వీ జైశ్వాల్, జింబాబ్వేపై 10 వికెట్ల తేడాతో టీమిండియా గ్రాండ్ విక్టరీ, టీ-20 సిరీస్ భారత్ కైవసం
